Home to a Singaporean ad a Swede, this Condo apartment combines great Functional spaces with a refired scandi aesthetic.

When the young 30-something owners bought this apartment, their brief to Fuse Concept was for a Scandinavian style apartment that reflected the husband’s Swedish heritage.

Despite a rather generous size of 1,800sqft, the designers realised that the unit required spatial reconfiguration to make it more comfortable, and functional, for the young couple

To carve out a spacious and open scheme with more room for cooking and entertaining, the designers knocked down the original kitchen wall and reduced its size to allow for the accommodation of a dry kitchen area complete with a good-sized kitchen island. The counter is wrapped in Volakas marble for a refined and luxurious touch. It also comes with a nifty hidden bench that can be pulled out when extra dining space is needed.

Clean lines, a restrained colour and material palette, and elegant furnishings all come together to create a cool and refined Scandi aesthetic.

The study has been made smaller to give more space to the living and dining area where the couple can hang out together more comfortably. The walls of the study have been partially replaced with black framed glass panels, ensuring privacy while maintaining the desired open and seamless feel in the common areas

The couple wanted a bigger master bedroom. With that in mind, the designers have combined two bedrooms into one, and it can now accommodate another cosy study area, as well as a bigger closet space.

In the bathroom, graphic pattern tiles add pizzaz to the soothing palette of browns, greys and white.
